The Ghana Police Service is leaving no stone unturned in the latest ritual killing in Kasoa, which saw two young people taking the innocent life of young Ishmael Mensah.
Nicholas Kini, 18, and Felix Nyarko, 15, the main suspects, were arrested the same day they committed the murder and appeared in court earlier this week.
They told the court that a fertish priestess they saw on TV had asked them to have a human being and GHC 5000 in order for them to become wealthy overnight.
The police went in to arrest the suspected priestess they had seen on TV with this detail.
Two more criminals have been detained and are aiding the police in their operations, according to new reports from DSP Juliana Obeng, the head of Public Relations at the Police Headquarters.
Charity and Desmond Nii Adjei have been identified as new offenders in their detention, and she is assisting them in unraveling the facts behind the tragic incident in Kasoa.
She urged journalists to be cautious about their reporting.
“Investigations are still ongoing, we stressed the need for us to be circumspect in our reportage because the case is quite sentimental; we do not want to toy with the emotions at this moment”
